Hands-On AI Development Simulation

Hands-On AI Development Simulation In-Person

Using a game called AIDev: Hiring Edition, learn and simulate how AI works with guidance from Professor Carrie Alexander and UC Davis students. The game allows you to build an AI, put it into society, and deal with the decisions and consequences that arise. In the game, players simulate training an AI, make difficult tradeoffs, and navigate legal, ethical, and political challenges. This event is led by Professor Carrie Alexander, who is a postdoctoral researcher at UC Davis.

Can you keep your AI bot out of trouble?
